The Islamic society is a wonderful opportunity for everyone, Muslims and non-Muslims alike to learn all about Islam. In general, we talk about a great variety of issues in the Religion of Islam, and during this year, we have covered topics ranging from The Life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), to Islam in the Media. We also have lunchtime parties with lots of food and usually a quiz, to celebrate Islamic festivals such as Eid-ul-Fitr. The Islamic society welcomes everyone and consists of members from all the year groups in the school, but is usually led by a member of the 6th form. It is held every Tuesday lunchtime from 12:45 to 1:20.
