Year 7 admissions for September 2017

Offers of school places are made by your Local Authority. On Wednesday 1st March e-mails will be sent to those applicants who have applied online for their child's secondary school place (and will arrive ahead of postal notifications). You can also log in to the online application system using your user name and password to check your offer. All applicants are sent a letter on this date informing you of the secondary school place being offered to your child. Letters will be sent by first class post and should arrive at your home address on Thursday 2nd March.

Students offered a place at Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls will receive a letter from the school regarding a Welcome Morning being held in March.

Sutton Girls ranked 30th in the country in Parent Power survey

The annual Sunday Times' Parent Power Survey was published on 27th November. The survey ranks the top 250 schools across the country, based on the highest grades at A level and GCSE examinations. This year, Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls has been ranked 30th of all secondary schools. At GCSE, 74.6% of all grades were A*-A, and at A level, 82.4% of all grades were A*-B.
