Important Update: School Closure

Due to the Met Offices rare red weather warning for extreme heat, we have made decision to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our school community and School will be fully closed Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th June and our Open Evening tomorrow has been cancelled.

This a not a decision that has been taken lightly.  Considering the safety of students and staff is our priority, with advice given as part of a red warning for extreme heat suggesting widespread disruption to travel networks, some of which have been seen already today.

We will continue to monitor weather updates over the coming days, with a focus on our return to normal school routines.  We will communicate further during the day on Thursday to give clarity regarding future plans.

This level of heat warning is extremely rare, so precautions should be taken by all to remain safe and well.  Please follow guidance on health in extreme heat here and extreme caution regarding water safety is advised, with further guidance available here.
