To creatively express an understanding of factors that shape and govern human behaviour.

  • To understand why being an effective communicator is a lifelong skill.
  • To understand that drama is used to explore topics and as a way to express opinion and fact.
  • It has a wide range of transferable skills that can be used in all aspects of life.

To gain the skills and tools to creatively construct meaning through the art form of Drama.

  • To understand that the use of performance skills can create and add detail and interest to a character. 
  • To understand that an audience plays an active role in watching drama.
  • To understand multiple forms and styles used within creating drama.
  • To be inspired by the world of a ‘theatre maker’ through directing, designing and performing.
