At Sutton Girls, our students consistently achieve outstanding A level results. In 2026, 86.8% of A level results were graded A*-B, and 63% of all results were A*/A grades. These achievements stem from determination, resilience and a commitment to excellence, supported by the consistent practice and preparation they undertake throughout their studies. Through the VESPA mindset model, we equip students with the habits and behaviours they need to thrive in whichever path they choose next.

However, learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. From Science Olympiads and essay competitions to university‑facilitated MOOCs, our students are ambitious and supported to embrace a wealth of opportunities that extend and deepen their learning.

Our students frequently speak of their happiness, and how they are well supported throughout their Sixth Form journey. The Sixth Form Team works to ensure that every individual feels valued, understood, and empowered to make confident decisions about their future. We believe in the power of a growth mindset, and students are encouraged to view every experience as a chance to learn and flourish.

With high‑quality teaching across a broad range of subject combinations, personalised guidance, and an outstanding selection of extra‑ and super‑curricular opportunities, we nurture ambition, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. As students conclude their time in the Sixth Form, many secure places at prestigious universities and on competitive courses, while others progress into the world of work through a variety of apprenticeship pathways.
